Deakin Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Deakin Estate was founded by Alfred Deakin in 1967, with a vision of making wines in the heart of Big Rivers, Australia; a wine region which covers the southwestern corner of the state of New South Wales. Producing all the grapes Australia does best, they are able to obtain amazing flavour without compromising on value, even when shipped all the way to the UK. Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a great example of single varietal Cab. Powerful but not overdone, it has juicy notes of cassis, black plum, chocolate and tobacco. The palate is enveloping and smooth with a good level of acidity to balance. A great wine to pair with BBQs or cheeseboards.
